DSU president appoints Derk and Dragseth chair positions

Dr. D.C. Coston, president of Dickinson State University, recently appointed the chair of the Department of Business and Management position to Dr. Debora Dragseth and the chair of the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science position to Dr. Molisa Derk.
Dragseth, professor of business, has been with the university since 1989. Dragseth will begin her new position effective Aug. 1, 2012. Dragseth received her doctorate in educational leadership and strategy from the University of Nebraska, a master's degree from the University of South Dakota and bachelor's degrees from Dakota State University in English literature and business administration.
Derk, professor of computer science, began teaching at DSU in 2008. Derk received her doctorate in computer science from the University of Oklahoma, a master's degree in computer science from Oklahoma City University, a master's degree in liberal studies from the University of Oklahoma, and a bachelor's degree in mathematics from Oklahoma Baptist University. Derk's appointment is also effective Aug. 1, 2012.
