NDSU biological sciences tenure seminar set

The NDSU Department of Biological Sciences is set to host a tenure seminar by Britt Heidinger, assistant professor of biological sciences. The seminar, titled "Longevity, Life-history Trade-offs and Life-experiences: Are Telomeres an Important Link?" is scheduled for Friday, Aug. 24, at 3 p.m. in Loftsgard 114.

Everyone is welcome.

Heidinger's laboratory research focuses on physiological ecology. Her most research examines how variation in stress responsiveness and exposure to stressors influences telomere dynamics.

Heidinger joined the NDSU faculty in 2013, after being a post-doctoral research associate at the University of Glasgow, United Kingdom.She earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Minnesota, Duluth, and her doctorate in evolution, ecology and behavior at Indiana University.
