Spring 2013 Art Shop Rescheduled at DSU Posted on 1/7/2013
A series of art shops are being presented by Dickinson State University faculty and students during the January and February months. Courses feature working with clay, digital photography and mixed media. Classes are:
• Digital Photography for Beginners
Saturday, January 19 and Saturday, January 26 from 10 a.m. to noon
Instructor: Marilyn Lee
Location: The Strom Center, 1679 6th Ave West
Cost: $60
Ages: 15 and up
Individuals interested in taking the course will need their own digital camera and flash drive. Class size is limited to 10 students.
• Intermediate Level Digital Photography
Instructor: Marilyn Lee
Saturday, February 2 and Saturday, February 9 from 10 a.m. to noon
Location: The Strom Center, 1679 6th Ave West
Cost: $60
Ages: 15 and up Individuals interested in taking the course will need their own digital camera and flash drive. Class size is limited to 8 students.
• Claycraft
Instructor: Robin Reynolds
Tuesdays: January 15, 22, 29; February 5, 12, 19 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Location: Clay Studio South Campus on West Villard St.
Cost: $135
Ages: 14 and up
Individuals interested in taking the course need to bring a small towel and a covered pail. Class size limited to 10 students.
• Mixed Media
Instructor: Chelsey Schwindt
Saturdays: February 2, 9, 16, 23 from 10 a.m. to noon
Location: Printmaking Room South Campus on West Villard St.
Cost: $75
Ages 14 and up
