Posted on 3/15/2013

Matt G.
North Dakota State College of Science will be hosting Matt Glowacki, motivational speaker and successful businessman, on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at 7:30 p.m. in the Harry Stern and Ella Stern Cultural Center in Wahpeton, N.D.

Glowacki will be speaking on the topic of diversity according to Family Guy and South Park. These popular television series will be examined as he identifies the ways in which they both break down stereotypical attitudes and behavior regarding people's differences. Glowacki's interpretation of these popular cultural icons educates, but most importantly enforces a fresh look at life around us.

Glowacki resides in Sun Prairie, Wis., where he is active in many local organizations, owns three separate businesses and is highly involved in competitive sports.

This event is free and open to the public and is co-sponsored by the NDSCS Diversity Council and the NDSCS Campus Activities Board.
