Dakota College Library Now Offers Digital eBooks and Audiobooks

Dakota College Library has expanded its services with eBooks and audiobooks available to enjoy from the library's website. Library card holders can borrow popular digital media anytime, anywhere by using a student ID number or library barcode number as a username and visiting

Users may browse the library's website, borrow titles with a valid library card, and enjoy reading on all major computers and devices, including iPhone®, iPad®, Nook®, Kindle®, and Android™ phones and tablets. Patrons can read eBooks or listen to audiobooks immediately after download on any device with an internet browser. Best of all, titles will automatically expire at the end of the lending period. There are no late fees or materials to return, users simply delete the material from their device.

Patrons are welcome to stop by Dakota College Library with their electronic device of choice and receive step by step instruction on taking advantage of this exciting collection which currently holds more than 300 titles. Additionally, patrons have access to the digital collections of many other libraries in North Dakota, which makes for a very large selection from which to choose. This digital service, powered by OverDrive, is free for users with a library card. Patrons can find helpful tools and information, such as contacting support, by clicking the Help button on the digital collection.
