BISMARCK, N.D. - The Higher Learning Commission will send an advisory team from the Consultant Evaluator Corp to visit Dickinson State University in late April or early May. The three-member advisory team will review procedures to help identify concerns with the special international programs and make suggestions to help the institution move forward.
The HLC has stressed the visit is not punitive but rather an effort at "due diligence."
The team will talk with senior and task force members at DSU, examine financial implications, make sure that controls are established to regulate course transfers and ensure that degree requirements are met.
