Envision2030 Liberal Arts & Humanities Pillar to take place Thursday

he North Dakota University System's next Envision 2030 Pillar discussion will take place Thursday, Oct. 6.
Focusing on Liberal Arts & the Humanities, the Pillar talk will take place at Valley City State University's Student Center Skoal Room. Teleconferencing options have been made available for those unable to attend the meeting in person. The event is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. Central Time.
Findings from the Envision 2030 breakout sessions held in May will be discussed at length to examine strategies for reaching goals identified for the Liberal Arts & Humanities in North Dakota. Those goals included increasing students' capacity for critical thinking, instilling big-picture thinking in tomorrow's leaders, and ensuring that all those graduating could communicate effectively in academia, business and their communities.

Previous Pillar talks on Diversity and Energy drew from expansive stakeholder groups to help successfully identify needs in their respective areas.
