North Dakota University System

International Students

The North Dakota University System offers international students exceptional opportunities for academic, technical and career training. Many international students take advantage of the resources and opportunities offered by our large research universities. Others prefer the support and intimacy offered by our regional universities and community colleges.

As you explore the offerings on each of our 11 campuses, please note the services, programs and social activities designed for international students. When you're ready to apply for admission, the best place to get help is from the admissions or registrar's office on the campus of your choice.

Canadian high school students may apply for freshman admission to University System campuses by filling out the NDUS Common Application Form or by applying online. You will need a passport. For detailed information on the application process and/or how to transfer into the University System from another campus, contact the college or university you plan to attend.

North Dakota colleges and universities have compiled a website at for international students to view other opportunities for study and campus contacts throughout North Dakota.
