22 Mar Minot State Student Government Association to host author, entrepreneur Willkom
The Minot State University Student Government Association (SGA) is hosting author and entrepreneur Kyle Willkom for a workshop and a keynote address Monday, April 1.
Willkom will conduct a workshop for Minot State students from noon to 1 p.m. at Aleshire Theater. His keynote address, open to MSU students, faculty, staff, and the community, is slated for Ann Nicole Nelson Hall with a social at 6 p.m., keynote at 7 p.m., and a book signing at 8 p.m.
“We are extremely excited to present Kyle as a keynote speaker at Minot State,” said SGA President Aaron Richard. “I’ve had the opportunity to listen to Kyle before, and he delivers an inspiring message about leadership through telling his life story — which does include a little singing along the way.”
Along with starting the leadership company Action Packed Leadership, Willkom is the author of two books, “Wake Up Call,” and “The Thinking Dilemma,” and the creator of the Action Packed Life online leadership course.
He travels the country, guitar in hand, delivering inspirational speeches that are funny, interactive, and life-changing. His speeches motivate and challenge students to have a vision, set goals, accomplish big things, and become a better version of themselves.
Willkom’s address to Minot State is titled, “5 Essential Lessons They Won’t Teach You In School.” For more information, contact Richard via EMAIL.
