Meyer named chief of staff

The longest-serving staffer of North Dakota University System office has been named as the new Chief of Staff.

Terry Meyer was named to the position effective May 1. Meyer has served the system office for nearly four decades, most recently as the Deputy Chief of Staff and Executive Assistant to the Chancellor.

Chancellor Mark Hagerott said that the promotion was a long time coming.

“With more than 36 years of dedicated service to the NDUS, Terry will continue to represent me in my day-to-day matters and the management of the university system office and serve as my liaison between my cabinet and State Board of Higher Education members,” Hagerott said. “In addition, she will supervise the office executive administrative support staff.”
