UND students awarded scholarships in remote sensing and geospatial technologies

Three UND students have been awarded a $750 North Dakota View Scholarship to help promote their professional development in remote sensing and other geospatial technologies:

  • Emmalee Woods, undergraduate student in Fisheries and Wildlife Biology in the department of Biology, Annandale, Minn.
  • Eohjin Lee, master’s student in Geography & GISc, Gwangju, Republic of Korea.
  • Morgan Burke, doctoral student in Earth System Science and Policy, Virden, Manitoba.

North Dakota View has been led by Bradley Rundquist, dean of the College of Arts & Sciences, and the department of Geography & GISc since 2004, and is a member of the AmericaView Consortium.

North Dakota View is dedicated to promoting remote sensing and geospatial technologies within North Dakota. The emphasis is on establishing and assisting with education and training curricula within colleges and universities throughout the state and enhancing technology transfer, applied research efforts, and workforce training.
