17 Sep UND Army ROTC celebrates 100th anniversary with Friday, Oct. 4 open house
The UND Army ROTC will celebrate their 100th anniversary on campus with an open house from 1 to 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 4, in the Armory. It will be followed by a social from 5:30 to 6 p.m., and a 6 p.m. dinner.
Speakers at the dinner include Brigadier General Jackie Huber from the North Dakota National Guard and a 1992 alum, along with Dennis Elbert, dean emeritus of the College of Business & Public Administration and a 1968 graduate. Dinner options, $40 per plate, are beef pot roast or turkey. Please RSVP no later than Friday, Sept. 20, to firstname.lastname@example.org.
On Saturday, Oct. 5, past members are invited to walk with ROTC in the Homecoming Parade, and to visit the Army ROTC tent for tailgating at noon before the UND Homecoming football game, which begins at 1 p.m.
