UND holding two-day soft public reopening of Ray Richards Golf Course on Oct. 2-3

Take a test “drive” on the new and improved Ray Richards Golf Course during Homecoming Week, which is this week at the University of  North Dakota.

UND is opening up the Ray Richards Golf Course fairways and greens for a two-day soft-reopening, this week, to let University students and the public get a taste of what to expect next spring when the nine-hole University golf course re-opens for good. This week’s golfing event is open to UND students, faculty and staff and the community at large.

To sign up for a FREE tee time, visit or call (701.777.9355) the UND Wellness Center Welcome Desk on the north end of campus, across from the Betty Engelstad Sioux Center. Tee-time slots are available every 15 minutes, from noon – 5 p.m., on Wednesday, Oct. 2 and Thursday, Oct. 3. Interested parties can sign up as individuals or up to a team of four (limited spots available).

Participants are asked to please bring their own clubs. No Carts will be available.
