North Dakota University System is sponsoring an Open Educational Resources Conference next spring at the Fargo Holiday Inn.

Preliminary Program topics will include:

  • National Landscape of OER in Higher Education
  • Landscape of OER in North Dakota – a panel presentation on campus OER adoption experiences
  • Open Text vs Traditional Textbook Research
  • Afternoon breakout sessions to include:
    • Open Textbook Repository Resources
    • Z-Degree or General Ed OER Implementation Strategies
    • Creating OER Textbooks – lessons learned by faculty
    • OER Textbook Options – college students and bookstore managers will share their experiences and information

Full program with details will be available in December

Registration fee is $35 per person, which will be waived for NDUS campuses upon registration.   Registration will cap at 125 attendees.   To register go to:  NDUS OER Conference
