North Dakota University System is sponsoring an Open Educational Resources Conference next spring at the Fargo Holiday Inn.
Preliminary Program topics will include:
- National Landscape of OER in Higher Education
- Landscape of OER in North Dakota – a panel presentation on campus OER adoption experiences
- Open Text vs Traditional Textbook Research
- Afternoon breakout sessions to include:
- Open Textbook Repository Resources
- Z-Degree or General Ed OER Implementation Strategies
- Creating OER Textbooks – lessons learned by faculty
- OER Textbook Options – college students and bookstore managers will share their experiences and information
Full program with details will be available in December
Registration fee is $35 per person, which will be waived for NDUS campuses upon registration. Registration will cap at 125 attendees. To register go to: NDUS OER Conference
