20 Dec NDSU staff member named to national board of directors
Wendy McCrory, program manager for the NDSU Card Center and Software Services in Information Technology, has been elected to the board of directors for the National Association for Campus Card Users. She is scheduled to begin a three-year-term during the organization’s national conference in Austin, Texas, in April 2020.
“I’ve been with the organization since the early 2000s, and my first national conference was in 2004. The association is a neat place to meet people who really understand the issues of being a card center manager,” McCrory said. “My goal as a board member is to provide an opportunity for card center managers to network with other people who deal with the same problems and can share ideas on how to solve them.”
McCrory engages the campus community to identify how the NDSU Card and its various programs can serve NDSU. She also oversees software services at NDSU, which includes fulfilling software requests and reviewing software contracts. She joined the NDSU staff in 1999.
The National Association for Campus Card Users was established in 1993. Its membership is open to all colleges, universities, secondary institutions and companies involved with the campus card market.
