Michael Weber, professor of choral activities, was named the North Dakota American Choral Directors Association Choral Director of the Year at the association’s recent state conference in Grand Forks, North Dakota.
Weber conducts the Madrigal Singers and The Statesmen of NDSU and teaches classes in choral conducting, choral literature and music education. Under his direction, the Madrigal Singers performed in the conference’s Showcase Concert.
Founded in 1959, ACDA is a nonprofit music education organization that promotes excellence in choral music through performance, composition, publication, research and teaching.
