NDSU to be represented on Coaches 4 Change committee

The NDSU men’s basketball program will be represented by assistant coach Josh Sash in Coaches 4 Change, known as C4C. The new organization was founded by college basketball coaches who are dedicated to helping their student-athletes, campuses and communities.

The mission of the organization is to provide a platform that engages, educates, empowers and evolves the collegiate student-athlete on issues of social injustice, systemic racism and the power of voting in the pursuit of equality.

“I’m proud to be a part of Coaches 4 Change. I joined in an act of unity, to empathize and use my voice in the fight against racism and social injustice,” said Sash. “As a listener first, my intent is to further educate myself to more effectively use my platform as a college basketball coach to engage, educate and empower people around me. I’m confident this group will inspire lasting change.”

NDSU head coach David Richman said, “I’m thrilled Coach Sash will be representing NDSU Basketball and our region in Coaches 4 Change. This organization is a great example of how we can personally activate the change that we want to see. I believe this endeavor is a good collective step by college basketball.”

As a student-focused, land grant, research university, we serve our citizens.
