NDUS Hosts Legislative Showcase

North Dakota’s 11 public colleges and universities presented at the 2019 Legislative Showcase in the state Capitol Memorial and Legislative Halls last week. During the daylong showcase, the state’s public campuses put some of their top programs on display to inform legislators and several school groups about what’s going on in higher education in the state.

Representatives of the 11 North Dakota University System institutions as well as its constituent groups of staff and students highlighted some of the high-quality academic experiences and innovative new ventures taking place on its campuses. Among those featured were the legislative priorities of North Dakota Student Association, systemwide implementation of Blackboard by Core Technology Services, a CAT driving simulator from North Dakota State College of Science, some 3-Minute Thesis presentations from graduate students, and a cybersecurity-based password test from Bismarck State College.
