Based on the General Education Requirement Transfer Agreement or GERTA, an approved set of general education courses are transferable between University System campuses and North Dakota’s five tribal colleges. The transfer agreement is designed to improve student access to college degrees and avoid course duplication or loss of credit when students transfer within North Dakota.
Select the GERTA Guide based on the year in which the course in question was taken. For guides prior to 2011, contact your campus records office.

Campus registrars and other authorized personnel may request changes, additions or deletions to the GERTA Guide using the form below. Changes are subject to approval by college registrars and ultimately must be approved by the University System chancellor.
